This project revolves around business due diligence that we performed regarding the investment in an amusement park. In order to create a number driven plan, we felt it would be necessary to understand future park visitor totals, and devised a methodology for calculating that. We based our forecasting model on several factors including macro-economics, customer base and price range for amusement parks domestically and internationally, and years of operation. Also, we analyzed the potential visitor number fluctuation based on the customer’s strategic options.

This project involves us working with our client for business cost reform. We began with comparing current costs with the costs of competitor companies, organizing and aligning their cost data in order to do the comparison. Once the comparison was complete, we were able to identify issues within the customer’s costs. Once we identified the main issues, we took a deep dive into each one, performing careful analysis on consumption and operational processes. Finally, after categorizing the issues, we implemented short term solutions and devised a plan for medium term solutions for each one.
