medical device manufacturers	Support for exploring promising areas in the US surgical field	In formulating a mid- to long-term strategy, we investigated cutting-edge trends in the US in the field of surgery, which the client considers to be one of the promising areas, and conducted a study to identify promising areas for future development. We extracted all surgical procedures covered by US insurance and investigated their marketability and the latest trends in technology. We discussed the results of the study with the client and narrowed down the promising areas.	Support for launching new businesses

With an objective third-party perspective, the company aimed to come up with ideas for home medical equipment that would meet market demand and be technically meaningful for the client, and to chart a course for research and development to make them a reality. From all of the approximately 2,000 types of medical procedures covered by Japanese insurance, the company selected those that have the potential to meet major needs in the future when home medical care shifts to home medical care. Discussed the results of the selection with the client and prioritized them. Compiled these into a research and development policy along with a business model proposal.
